Akari has been interested in watercolor her entire life, and her experience as an artist has been present since she was six years old. She is fascinated by many different types of paintings; however, she is more interested in what a piece speaks to someone’s personality. Her four years at Besant have shaped her personality who she is now, and she holds thousands of memories here. The theme of her art series is filled with appreciation and gratitude inspired by her high school highlights and passion. Food is her strong passion, and she knew she had to draw that for this show. Her paintings reflect what she loves and the kind of world she wishes to be true. Her art pieces put the end period as she graduates soon and now she is ready to move on to the next chapter of her life.
