LUNUS:30XX
Canvas, Acrylic, Gloss Medium
LUNUS:30XX is a painting that is "split" down the middle. The left half is a painting of the lunar face. The right side is a futuristic planetscape/city. The theme we were supposed to work off of was "perseverence," and what's a better testiment to humanity's perseverence than us reaching out and claiming the stars? The painting is supposed to feel massive and powerful. The muted colors of the larger structures higlight the colorful ships and buildings harboring the future kin of mankind.
