Camera Roll is a series of photos that the artist has taken, traced onto canvas paper and colored with gouache. It shows a personal aspect of the artists life, and shows a more simplified version of the photos when painted. The colors are a mix of both vibrant and watery to give a necessary contrast in certain pictures. The use of gouache allows for colors to pop, as well as mix and flow easily. This piece is meant to provoke curiousity and be fun for others to observe!
