In the Photographic series, Beneath the Surface, all photographs share a story of their own. The photographers photos look like natural beauty, Not many added filters, just small adjustments. When looking at the photographer's photos they want you to look beneath the surface of the photo. Having more than one thought pop up in the viewer's head making them question what the connection is, it makes the viewer question whether or not there's one or more ways this photo can be viewed as. When looking at anyones photo you immediately assume it has one meaning or one connection or the photo doesn't have its own story the photo is just given one word, or a symbol. Having a series of photos can be a sign of a whole story, each photo can be connected to each other or have a connection that's way beneath the surface of the photo. Taking photos can be so relaxing and fun, finding new lighting, shadows, angels etc. Having a camera in your hands gives the photographer full control. Having that control feels like you're floating trying to try and create the “perfect picture”.
