Akari has been interested in photography her entire life, but her experience as a photographer has just begun this year in Brian’s class. She is fascinated by many different types of photography; however, she is more interested in what a photograph speaks to someone’s personality. Her four years at Besant have shaped her personality who she is now, and she holds thousands of memories here. The theme of her photo series is filled with appreciation and gratitude by taking photos of the environment and people at Besant Hill. Sunrise in Ojai is a precious gift she has ever had, and she knew she had to take one for this show. The environment is beautiful, so are people. She tried to take portraits as they don’t care about the camera, because my other theme is just another day at Besant. Her photos put the end period as she graduates soon and now she is ready to move on to the next chapter of her life.
