The artwork is a slab of clay with engravings, addition and subtraction. Then message behind the artwork is to always smile through the pain even though you maybe crying. The message is reinforced in the artwork is the tears showing the sadness. The smile is to show smiling through the pain. The colors were randomized to give it uniqueness.
