Gnomes are Real
Watercolor, Paper
This piece was initially supposed to be a story half-way inspired by Dante's Inferno. Halfway through, due to some very needed pondering, it became more of a reflection of the fractions of the little memories that you have. It's all cute with the bear and the gnome, but when making it, the artist really thought of those little fragments of memories that he could remember. A more cohesive narrative could've been thought and written up, but the artist though that that was besides the point. The story doesn't really matter—each individual point doesn't need to be carefully written. Only the fragments of what important. That probably makes it an idealized rendition, but that's okay.
