This photography series “ Afterlife”  was taken with the idea in mind of both things falling apart and the fact that it will be okay.  Some of the photos reflected such things as seen in a  “ toxic” tea party where there are 2 burnt and blackened cups and a teapot filled with flowers. This shows how even when broken or burnt everything has its beauty. The artist worked with her sister and her mother to find a way to make something a bit more beautiful seen in the photo flowery past where a skull is filled with flowers. This is bringing up the discussion of how everything has its beauty and how something like the representation of death being the skull and how flowers represent life is an interesting contrast. The artist's main goal in this series was to make you think about the past and how when things fall apart everything still has its beauty. No matter what, never give up or else you’ll never know how you can turn the past and make it something amazing.
