Relations explores the idea of how the mind shapes our perception of what we see. Sometimes people judge what they see right away, whether it’s an object, familiar sign, or person. This series challenges viewers to be able to see things in a different way, without preconceived convictions. I tried to use less complicated but strong, impactful photographs that the audience will remember in their minds and leave an impression. Using minimalist compositions, Relations, adds depth and details to familiar images, encouraging people to look into the meaning and ask themselves the context.
