Scheletro

Scheletro, is a ceramic tile that revolves around the theme of perseverance. This tile shows the outline of a skeleton, specifically its arms. My tile depicts the story of when I broke my humerus. One may see that the right arm of my skeleton is broken. This represents a recent time in my life where I broke my own bone and had to learn how to overcome those challenges. I chose to raise the bones outside of the tile to allow it to pop for each viewer. This art piece is intended to allow the audience reflect on a time in their own lives where they have exhibited perseverance.
